Lauren Fisher Proves Working With the Worm is Way Harder Than it Looks

Not all that long ago, Dave Castro started getting creative with worm wall balls, and now athletes know to be prepared for anything. Lauren Fisher posted a video of her and her team working with the worm in preparation for their upcoming competitions and mastering the piece of equipment didn’t come easy.

The foursome tried again and again (and again), dropping it almost every single time. Persistence pays off, though. By the end, they had gotten the hang of it and were looking stronger than ever. Way to be!

Want some good laughs? ? Then you need to watch this video. ?? It shows how not all training is as pretty as it seems on Instagram! ????????? I can’t wait to compete with this team at @dxbfitnesschamp and @thewodapalooza in the next two months! ????????? Trained together for the first time this weekend and everything went really well except for the worm ? owning us in every single workout. ?? Do you think we’re going to see it any of the CrossFit sanctioned competitions this season? Half of me says I would be happy if it didn’t show up, but the other half also really wants to get revenge. ? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. ????? ????????? Thank you @tinomarini for putting up with us all weekend! ? @tommyvinas_ @reganhuckaby, @rasmuswandersen

And Then There Were 10-Final Team Event Announced

Coming into Day 4, it was announced that after Burpee Litter, the 10th team event at the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games, the field would be cut to ten for the final event. In traditional CrossFit Games fashion, Dave Castro announced the event and then added a twist to the end. For this one, teams will get not one, but TWO worms and a not-so-nice complex to determine the Affiliate Cup Champion for 2017.
