Are you Open Ready? Here is the fifth WOD from RAW Strength and Conditioning!

It’s a classic CrossFit workout. 7 rounds for time of four movements; power clean and jerks, box jumps, pull ups and double unders. This should be a workout that everyone competing in the Open can perform.

Rich Froning and Mat Fraser Hit Tough WOD

It’s not very often two of the fittest dudes in the world get to hit a workout together. When up in Santa Cruz for the CrossFit Open announcement, Rich Froning and Mat Fraser dropped into CrossFit HQ to get in a little working out.

They hit this tough WOD together, that makes all us mere mortals seem just that mortal.

This workout consistent of the following:

11 touch and go clean & jerks at 155
9 touch and go clean & jerks at 185
7 touch and go clean & jerks at 205
5 touch and go clean & jerks at 245
3 touch and go clean & jerks at 275

The Dmitry Klokov show continues!

Klokov continues his journey around the world, spreading the word of Russian Weightlifting.

It wouldn’t be a seminar without another crazy feat of strength and amazing Olympic Lifting.

In Malaysia this week, Klokov excited the seminar crowd with a 180kg / 396lb Pause Snatch.

CrossFit Tour heads to Big Sky Montana back in 2012, for a throwdown with affiliate owners and the community.

The challenge?

Step up to the plate and challenge Rich Froning and Dan Bailey in a unofficial weightlifting meet.  Froning and Bailey Snatch and Clean and Jerk, with the 2014 CrossFit Games champ hitting 290kg. If this was a sanctioned event, these lifts would have been enough to qualify him for the 2013 USA Weightlifting National Championships in the 94kg Class!
