CrossFit Open announcement 16.3 will be taken on by a Teenager and a Master at CrossFit JAX  in Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday March 10 (Friday March 11 Australian Time).

Shawn Ramirez, 41, and Nicholas Paladino, 17, both came out on top in their age division in the 2016 CrossFit Games and are said to be a pretty even match up despite their 24 year age difference.

We’ve compiled a short list of the two athletes stats based off their CF Games profiles:

Dana Linn Bailey and Miranda Oldroyd team up to do the notorious CrossFit benchmark workout named LINDA. The workout is 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Deadlifts at1.5 x bodyweight, Bench Press at 1 x bodyweight, and Power Cleans at .75 x bodyweight.

Since they are doing in a team format, it will turn into LINDA 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.

Girls vs. Boys, Deadlift (205-375), Bench Press (140-250), Power Clean (105-185).

Can you believe it? The CrossFit Open and CrossFit Season has officially started. 2016 registration is now live for the Open and workout 1 (16.1) will get released on Monday February 25th PST (Tuesday February 26th ACDT). 2016 CrossFit Games Season Dates Released

Ready or not, the 2016 CrossFit season is officially in motion.

CrossFit HQ has released the 2016 schedule of events which include the Open, the Masters Qualifier, Regionals, and the Games. So far it looks like there are not too many changes from the 2015 season. The 8 super regions from 2015 all return, with no new events or surprises being added to the mix… as of yet.
