Although we are all unquestionably different in the things that we do in life and the ways that we do them, there is one force that drives us all: inspiration. Below is a complied list of 5 videos that are guaranteed to inspire and pump you up before a good sweat sesh.
WARNING: DO NOT watch these videos on your rest day. It will no longer be your rest day.
1. Rise and Shine
“You’re on your way now but this is no time to dwell on how far you’ve come. You’re in a fight against an opponent you can’t see, but oh you can feel him on your heels, can’t ya? Feel ‘em breathing down your neck. You know what that is? That’s you. Your fears, your doubts and insecurities all lined up like a firing squad ready to shoot you out the sky.”
2. David Blaine: How I Held My Breath For 17 Minutes
“It’s practice, it’s training, and it’s training and experimenting while pushing through the pain to be the best I can be.”
3. Nigel Marsh: How To Make Work-Life Balance Work
“The small things matter. Being more balanced doesn’t mean dramatic upheaval in your life. With the smallest investments in the right places, you can radically transform the quality of your relationships and the quality of your life. Moreover, I think it can transform society, because if enough people do it, we can change society’s definition of success away from the moronically simplistic notion that the person with the most money when he dies wins, to a more thoughtful and balanced definition of what a life well-lived looks like. And that, I think, is an idea worth spreading.”
4. Do It For Yourself
“When you embark on this journey you must know that it’s going to go down before it comes up, but when it comes up its going to go so much higher than you’ve ever been.”
“How do you beat Josh Bridges? How do you beat Scott Panchik? You just beat them. There’s no strategy, you just beat them.” -Rich Froning

5. Ben Saunders: Why Bother Leaving The House?
“True, real inspiration and growth only comes from adversity and challenge; from stepping away from what’s comfortable and familiar and stepping out into the unknown.”

ZAMST is a premier bracing and support company that has been providing elite athletes across the world with prevention and injury solutions since 1992.
Is it just a coincidence that CrossFit HQ generously gave each Games athlete an assault bike after their successful regionals run? Or will this terrorizing piece of equipment turn up in Carson?
We haven’t seen stationary bikes at The Games since “Killer Kage” in 2011 when they incorporated monkey bars, front squats and the “WattBike.” A painful little triplet that played out like this:
“Killer Kage”
Three rounds for time of:
7 front squats (225lbs / 155lbs)
700 meters on the WattBike
100-foot traverse of the “Killer Kage” monkey bar rig
3..2..1.. The 2015 CrossFit Games to Start in Hermosa Beach, California
Come late July four words come to mind: SUN’S OUT GUNS OUT.
Event 1 of the 2015 CrossFit Games will start in the sand for the teams and individuals. We all know by now to expect some sort of swimming event during the weekend and Castro gives it to them again on the first day of competition. Individuals will then continue onto the tennis courts, like last year, to take on event 2.
2014 CrossFit Games “The Beach” Event Facts:
The Australian teams dominated the leaderboard last year after event 1. All 3 affiliates placed in the top 10 and CF Athletic took home the event win.
Kara Webb snagged 3rd place at the beach
7 out of 9 Aussie affiliates or athletes placed in the top 10 after event 1 in 2014
2014 champ, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet placed 6th
Jordan Troyan, who took 1st in the mens individual in 2014’s “The Beach” and 1st in “The Pool” in 2013, failed to qualify for the games this year. Josh Bridges, who also missed out on the 2015 Games, took 3rd place at the beach.

Thomas, Powerlifter: Multiple Bench Press State Champion, Powerlifting State Champion, won an insignificant tug war battle @ basic military service – he insisted on this
The 2015 CrossFit Games Champion, Camille Leblanc Bazinet just signed up for the 2015 CrossFit Open. For years, Bazinet has been competing out of Canada East, dominating the region along side fellow CrossFit Games competitor Michele Letendre.
However, the big scoop is that she will be competing out of a new region this year. After marrying fellow CrossFit Athlete Dave Lipson, Bazinet relocated to Boulder, Colorado. With this change of location she has moved into the South West Region. The new competition will include athletes such as Amanda Goodman and Tiffany Hendrickson.
Will she qualify again for the CrossFit Games in 2015? Is there ever any doubt?
